Cutting

In this category you will find tools for cutting various materials, paper and cardboard... I offer 5 different cutting tools:

  • Micro cutters with interchangeable blades. The very short carbide blade is very precise and can cut all materials, as long as they are thin. The interchangeable handles can be used to insert various other types of blades (scrapers, silver point, leads and abrasive erasers)
  • Swivel cutters with 360° free rotation. The blade, identical to the micro cutter, is mounted on ball bearings and naturally follows the movement. No need to turn your hand like with a classic cutter, the blade follows by itself and the cutter can be used like a pen. Only for thin materials: the blade cannot cut thick materials, and the mechanism is useless for thick materials.
  • Interchangeable scalpel blade holders. Allows you to use either the tungsten carbide blades offered on the site, in 4 different shapes. Or various classic commercial blades (swann morton, x-acto ...). Tungsten carbide blades have much higher cutting qualities and lifespan. They are also used to cut tetrapak, leather, in relief size to engrave in lino or plywood. Handle identical to the multiline plexi / etching.
  • The swivel scalpel conduct rotation. Same blades as the previous scalpel. The handle is articulated in its center, and is held the base between the thumb and middle finger, and the top under the middle finger. The thumb and middle finger allow the blade to be freely directed, the middle finger and hand provide the cutting power. Perfect for making beautiful curves in thick materials, but the grip is not easy for everyone.
  • The interchangeable knife is available with 3 different blades. Tools developed for saving size, it has superb cutting quality for paper, cardboard, tetra pak, leather... The blade is intended to be resharpened regularly, and not thrown away like scalpel blades.
